Raise the Baton is Sunriver Music Festival’s premier fundraising party of the year! This lively event raises vital funds for Young Artists Scholarships and the Festival’s world-class concerts.
Hosted by Maestro Brett Mitchell, the event features performances by advanced Young Artists Scholarship recipients.
Emceed by local personalities Dr. Stephen Marshall and Brett Bizik, this is sure to be a fun evening, with a silent auction, paddle raise, entertainment, and delicious dinner by Bowtie Catering!
Sunriver Music Festival is a year-round charitable organization. All donations given at Raise the Baton for sponsorships and scholarships may be deductible as per section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and donors will receive a receipt stating no goods or services were received for this contribution. Nonprofit tax ID #93-0736403.

The auction includes the popular tradition of auctioning the season artwork—this year’s “River Dreaming” by photographer David Young-Wolff.
Raise the Baton also highlights unique opportunities to sponsor the elements of music: guest artists, orchestra sections, concerts and musical works, solo parts, travel costs, venues, an instrument petting zoo for kids, and more. (It’s really expensive to move and tune a piano, for example.)
Celebrating the 30th year of the Young Artists Scholarship program, Sunriver Music Festival has awarded almost $750,000 to Central Oregon music students. Thanks to your donations, we are also able to create and support music education classes and programs in South Deschutes County schools in addition to presenting world-class musicians in the Festival Orchestra each summer.
The cost to attend is $125 per person, and includes a delicious dinner and complimentary wine and soft drinks.
We hope you will join in keeping the arts alive and vibrant in Central Oregon!
